We built Noema to be a useful thinking tool, not a data harvesting operation. This policy explains clearly what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What We Collect
What you enter
When you use Noema, we receive the inputs you provide — ticker symbols, analyst notes, macro notes, and configuration choices (like which personas to activate). These are used to generate your analysis.
Usage data
We collect basic usage information: pages visited, features used, session timing, and error logs. This helps us understand how the product is being used and where to improve it.
Email address (optional)
If you choose to register an email for account recovery, we store it. It is not required to use the core Service, and we will not use it for marketing without your explicit consent.
Authentication
Noema uses passkey-based authentication. We do not store passwords.
What We Don't Collect
- We do not collect financial account information
- We do not collect brokerage data
- We do not purchase or ingest third-party personal data profiles
- We do not sell your data to anyone
How We Use Your Data

We may use aggregated, anonymized usage patterns internally to understand what makes the product useful. This data is never tied to individual identities.
Data Retention
We retain analysis inputs and outputs for a limited period to support your session history. We do not keep your data indefinitely. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our systems within a reasonable window — typically 30 days.
Cookies and Analytics
Noema uses minimal cookies necessary for session management and authentication. We may use a lightweight analytics tool to understand traffic patterns. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Third-Party Services
Noema's AI analysis is powered by third-party language model providers. Inputs you provide are processed by these services to generate outputs. We take care to work with providers who have reasonable data handling commitments, but note that your inputs do leave our own infrastructure during processing.
We do not share your data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or resale.
Security
We use standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure credential handling, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data with care.
Your Rights
You can:
- Request a copy of data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of any future email communications (if you registered an email)
